Shirley recently rejoined Decision Processes International in the United States following a six-year hiatus during which she took on interim COO positions with two different companies going through significant strategic direction changes, and focused the rest of her time on non-profit organizations seeking clarity in strategic direction and execution of successful implementation.

Prior to Shirley’s original engagement with DPI from 1998 to 2011, she acted as President of OCC Europe, a medical communications company based out of London and Oxford. Growing the company by more than 50% in less than two years. This followed her career in the pharmaceutical industry with GlaxoWellcome (now GlaxoSmithKline), In roles starting in sales in the United States, moving into Commercial Strategy in the US, then globally, ultimately culminating in a role as a Strategy Advisor in London, supporting the Chairman of the Board, Sir Richard Sykes.

Shirley is passionate about facilitating senior leadership in discovering and clarifying the purpose underpinning their business, the DNA that constitutes the framework of their current business, and interpreting the future in which their business will compete in order to define the greatest opportunities for company growth that will both leverage who and what they are, and will capture engagement and commitment from employees throughout the organization.

Shirley has worked with over 150 companies and organizations in facilitating the use of critical thinking processes to drive clarity and commitment to strategic thinking, decision-making, prioritization and action planning in support of a fully articulated and embraced vision and mission that drives both immediate and sustainable growth.
