Randy has recently joined Decision Processes International in the United States, bringing a wealth of experience in strategic thinking from his tenure at Red Dot Corporation as Red Dot’s Chief Executive Officer and President.
Randy lead Red Dot’s business development and strategic planning initiatives around the world. He was responsible for an organization with over 500 employees in the United States, United Kingdom, and China producing over $135 million US.
Since joining Red Dot in 1977, Randy worked in nearly every aspect of the company, including leadership roles in cost accounting, human resources, production forecasting, customer service, aftermarket distribution, and sales. Under his stewardship, the company diversified and balanced its revenue across a broad range of heavy-duty, commercial, and international markets. Randy was appointed President in 1989 and Chairman of the Board of Directors when Red Dot’s Employee Stock Ownership Trust purchased 100% of the company’s stock in January 2000. As Chairman, Randy worked with senior Red Dot executives to set the overall strategy and direction of the company.
Randy is Chairman of the Board of Directors for the Center for Advanced Manufacturing Puget Sound (CAMPS), and member of South Seattle College’s Presidents Advisory Board. He also was a voting commissioner on the Washington State Economic Development Commission; appointed in 2011. In 2012 Randy was honored by Seattle Business magazine as its Manufacturing Executive of the year.
